Hotel at a Glance: Omni Shoreham Hotel

There’s history in the walls of the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Built in 1930, the glittering complex at the edge of Washington, DC’s Adams-Morgan neighborhood played host to some of the 20th century’s most notable celebrities and events; the Beatles stayed here, and the hotel’s ballroom has hosted Presidential inaugural balls for leaders ranging from FDR to Barack Obama.
